Only in Wisconsin, or Only in My House

Just a picture where they both look awfully cute.

My girls are outside playing with bubbles. Really. It stopped snowing.

I called my husband an Ass Hat last night and he thought it was so funny he has been referring to himself as The Ass Hat all day.

I yelled at Teena a few nights ago. She was having a home cooked meal of nutritious Spaghettio's (ever look at the label? It has way more nutrition than white bread, maybe not as much as popcorn ahem) and she got some on the table cloth. I had a fit, yelling about who got red sauce on my table cloth, I just washed the damn thing. Then I realized how horrible I was. Not for yelling. For caring.

WHEN DID I BECOME A PERSON WHO EVEN HAS A STINKING TABLECLOTH NOT TO MENTION WHO THE HELL CARES IF IT GETS MESSY IT IS ON THE TABLE WHERE WE EAT OUR FOOD!!!!

Teena has an unfortunate resemblance to Pig Pen, the little kid from the Peanuts cartoons who walks around in a cloud of dust. The only way to keep something clean around her is to get it away from her, or move her away from it. This means she should eat outside, or in the shower. I am a pro- active mom though, I taught her how to use our dust buster. But, it is still too heavy for her to carry.

  1. Give her a few more months and she'll be toting the dust buster around. Then you'll be set for life. Or at least for a couple of messes. ;0

  4. haha i know what you mean, i stop myself sometimes and say...do i really care about that issue? often i don't really, words are coming out of me that came out of my mother to me...it's scary really as she lives the otherside of the world! i love photo of the girls so so cute. how about Genea, how is she doing? the nighttime waking thing. Sarah has started to wake in the night screaming, but she's still half asleep (very diff.from Genea i guess). i don't know what i will do if it continues like this, i'm totally cream crakered! On that aspect i feel your pain. Good luck and let us know what worked. ps well done you survived the MIL!!

  6. Well, Genea waited until 7 to get up the past few days. I put her on extreme boredom restriction therapy, ie, sit in her room on her bed. It worked out well.
If I start calling either of my girls "young lady", as in "you better pick that up young lady", please shoot me.
Thanks for the store comment, I can do those things because I don't have a JOB! Free's up a lot more time! But actually, I always knit in the evenings watching TV, so like 2-3 hours a night.
    I survived the MIL visit, I think I deserve a T-shirt!!!
