So, after much begging and hollering on the part of people who read here, I have decided to give in to one of the demands. I have finally written up an "about us" type of page. Here it is:
"We Are Us"
Right, of course the truth is, seriously, one person suggested an "about me" post might be helpful like, 2 years ago. So *ahem* being as on the ball as I am, I jumped right on it and just finished it up.
So, what do you think? Make sense? Any holes I should fill in? Things I am not explaining? Stuff you still wonder about? Let me know!
On my Brother in Law's facebook page in the "about me" section, he has "if you're here, you already know about me."
ReplyDeleteIt's kinda the same for us, isn't it?
My only complaint is that my breakfast-deprived brain took your first to sentences and put "blog" together with "peanut butter sandwich" and made the phrase, "peanut butter bologna sandwich," which got me really excited because NO ONE BUT ME likes peanut butter and bologna sandwiches. In fact, they disgust my entire family to the degree that I am no longer allowed to eat them in the house.
ReplyDeleteThen I realized that was not what you wrote at all.
So I went and got some left-over beef and broccoli, and I'm all better now.
Other than that, it looks great.
interesting. i didn't know that you felt so strongly about comments. i have been here lots of times and not left commnets...lol. anyway...i like your blog.
ReplyDeleteI love it !!!If I wasnt already a die-hard reader/groupie/stalker, I would become one :)
ReplyDeleteI like it. There was a lot I didn't know. For instance, I didn't know that Genea was not her real name. Is Teena's name real? Are you really called Essie?
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could add something about when/why you left your work to be a SAHM. Up to you. But other than that, it all flows and makes sense.
Well that explains alot. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSorry Lynne if it is dull to you! LOL! Maybe I should have included the part about going to the Jerry Springer show. More interesting, or did I already tell about that too?
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb, I will work in the part of becomming a sahm. You're right, it's a big part that I skipped!
Oh yeah, sorry. No, Essie is not my real name and Teena is a stage name too. When I first started this blog I wanted to be very cautious about privacy with the girls. Go figure when that asshole father- with- rights- terminated moved in across the street. Sort of made the stage names seem pointless! But, here they are, can't change them now!
