Sadly, our little cat is sick. The Husband and I got him just after we were married a hundred years ago. He has been with us longer than both of our children combined. He is about 15 years old. At Christmas we found out he has a tumor by his liver.
Hanging out on the patio with the Barbies. Probably pretending he is on a cruise.
Late Wednesday, I could tell something was really wrong. By Thursday, it seemed he was probably going to pass away. But today is Saturday and he is still hanging in there. Just barely.
(You may not want to look at the picture, it is very sad)
He is on painkillers. While we have a few other choices, we have decided to make him comfortable at home with his family and let whatever happens, happen.
At any rate, I will continue the story very soon.
Oh, I am so, so sorry! My husband and I had a "newly married" cat, too....and he was absolutely our baby. HOW we loved him!
ReplyDeletePoor Bailey! Poor you! My heart is breaking for you. Cats are perfect children. They always love you, and rarely hurt your feelings. If they were required to go to school, they would always bring home good grades.
On a happy note (for me) I am heart-warmed to see a NEW HEADER!!!!! Have to say, it's been sad only communing with you as I smash my shopping carts.
Oh, the poor thing. So sorry to hear about your cat. Take all the time you need.
ReplyDeleteIm sorry your kitty is very sick. hugs
ReplyDeleteHugs to you! <3
ReplyDeleteThat is so sad. Our pets become so much more than that over time. Hugs to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteOh my heart breaks for you! I am crying looking at that sad picture but I know he lived long and was well loved. Oh sweet kitty. Rest well in heaven when the angels call you home.
ReplyDeleteSo, so sorry.
