Just... fail

In conclusion, it is apparent that I am a ginormous fail in all things domestic, up to and including the very ground this house sits upon.

  2. Hope that I am not repeating myself - tried to comment and saw a blank space in the comment section. So apologies for being technically illiterate. But here comes my comment - for possibly the second time:
Please do explain! Because I love the bright red tulips against the weathered wood. So how is creating something beautiful a fail? Unless of course you hate beauty - is that it? Hope you know that that last part is a joke. Sometimes things that sound funny in my head - look at bit odd once they are in writing.

    1. LOL! Nope, I got the funny!
See though, the tulips are growing thru the chair. So either we don't use the chair, or we kill the tulips getting them out so we can use the chair.

    2. Just say that this is a site specific art work that may involve some performance art ie moving the chair to sit down! Then it is all good. See how creative I can be in changing something to a positive point of view for you. Wish I could do that in my own life and not be so hard on myself sometimes :)

    3. LMAO! Its the juxtaposition between old and new and the revelation they are intertwined. To only focus on the new is to destroy the old, and vice versa! LOVE IT!
Alternately, don't down on yourself, or the universe will jam tulips thru your arse! HAAAAAAAAAA!

Keep up with your art - next year it will be at MOMA!

  4. Its a boring story! We had some SUPER ugly bushes that took over that part of the yard. We took them out, then the neighbor took down her big huge tree from the other side. Suddenly, with sun and no obstruction, weeds the size of an SUV grew. It took about 100 years to destroy all the nature that took over. So I did the logical thing, and covered it all with some landscaping fabric and mulch.
BUT, I don't know what the hell I'm doing! And evidently some long-obstructed tulips came back to life. Thru the chair.

  5. Seems to me those tulips fit right into your house. They are like Genea. Even when they are neglected and forgotten, with a little sun they bloom, perhaps not quite where they were expected.

  9. You are so funny. I would die of embarrassment if anyone looked into my yard; comparatively, that is really, really fine landscaping.

  10. Annie I had to crop that pic like 3 times to get all the junk out of it, seriously.
